FGD Investortrust: Crypto and Financial Service: Strategies for Sustainable Innovation

On Thursday, February 13, 2025, InvestorTrust held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in Jakarta entitled “Crypto and Financial Services: Strategies for Sustainable Innovation.”

The event brought together representatives from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (Bappebti), PT Central Financial X (CFX) as a crypto exchange, the Indonesian Crypto Asset Traders Association – Indonesian Blockchain Association (Aspakrindo – ABI), and crypto asset traders to discuss strategies for supporting the Indonesian crypto industry.

During the discussion, the OJK stated that it has established a program to foster the development and testing of innovations within the financial services sector, including crypto assets. CFX emphasized the need to further encourage Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization to broaden crypto asset adoption in Indonesia. Participants also highlighted the importance of educational programs to enhance public understanding of crypto assets and their ecosystem.
